Fluent Tab is a free browser extension that provides language learning functionality by:

• Replacing words on web pages with translations in your target language
• Providing interactive learning features (hover for original text, marking words as learned)
• Syncing your learning progress and preferences across devices
• Offering various difficulty levels and customization options

The service is distributed free of charge through the Mozilla Firefox Add-ons store.

You agree to:

• Use the extension only for personal, non-commercial language learning purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the extension
• Not use the service to violate any laws or regulations
• Not attempt to overwhelm our servers with excessive requests
• Respect the intellectual property rights of third parties when using the extension

We provide the service on an "as is" basis and make no warranties about:

• Continuous availability of the service
• Accuracy of translations (translations are provided by third-party services)
• Compatibility with all websites or browser versions
• Freedom from bugs or technical issues

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice.

Our service relies on third-party translation services (currently DeepL API). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services. Your use of translations is also subject to the terms and policies of these providers.

The Fluent Tab extension, including its code, design, and functionality, is owned by DBUIDL LIMITED and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the extension for personal purposes only.

You retain ownership of any feedback or suggestions you provide about the service, but grant us a non-exclusive right to use such feedback to improve our service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not liable for any loss of data, profits, or business interruption
• Our total liability shall not exceed £100 (one hundred pounds sterling)

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

You may terminate your use of the service at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms of Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately, and any data stored locally will be removed when you uninstall the extension.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
